Keyboard oddities on AlphaStation 200
OK, I finally got RedHat 5.2 installed on my AlphaStation.
Now, when I start RedHat, some of the keys are sort of messed up.
In particular: Caps lock acts like control;
Control does something odd (control-C generates some odd 8-bit char);
the backslash/ vertical bar key does nothing;
the numeric keypad is the only way to input arrows;
num lock doesn't work;
the alt key doesn't work (in particular, alt-fN doesn't switch consoles).
Do alphastations expect slightly different keycodes from IBM keyboards? I'm
using a MS Natural Keyboard; it works
fine on my x86 Linux machine.
Any hints would be appreciated.
