People who switch root shell to tcsh get exactly what they deserve!
Next we will learn that you write shell scripts in csh?  Other
perversions?  Big sigh!

Add on your boot line 'init=/bin/bash' and be done with it.

p.s. What exactly tcsh gains you over bash?  I know what an answer
will be for a comparison with an "original Bourne" but this is not
that one.
